Questions & Answers with Neil Hogan - #1.5 Q. I understand that you are starting to offer online guitar lessons. Can you tell me a little more about them? A. Thanks for asking about what is happening here at Totally Guitars. We are in the process of accumulating, recording, and presenting lots of different styles of online guitar lessons. We have assembled some of the best teachers we know and assigned each of them to start working on a curriculum of videos that we can offer our viewers and visitors. I have been working on organizing and shooting videos featuring some acoustic classic rock songs, as well as some beginning fingerpicking songs like House of the Rising Sun, Dust in the Wind, and Blackbird. As we get further into developing the site I will include more complex arrangements of Beatles tunes and American Standards, as well as a lot of country blues and ragtime arrangements. We also have other great teachers starting to compile stuff. We will have classical, flamenco, and jazz lessons from Bennet Zussman, electric lead and rhythm styles from Stefan Beddeson, some in depth jazz lessons from Jim Witzel, and maybe even additional classical and flamenco videos from John Dimick (if we can get him to stop fiddling with his great site http://www.guitarist.com/). Something that would really help
us out here is input from you and anybody you know who is interested in the
guitar. We will build this interactive site along the lines that we get
requests for. Check in early and often. Additional links and comments about online guitar lessons can be found here - guitar lessons. |
