    Shabana Azmi launches Javed Siddiqui's book 'Shyam Rang' at Bhavans college on 9th February 2008 Noted playwright Javed Siddiqi's novel 'Shyam Rang' released Javed Siddiqi, the eminent playwright and scriptwriter, released his novel based on the eternal love story of Shri Krishna & Radha titled 'Shyam Rang' at a star studded evening at Pranganga, Bhavan's College campus in Andheri West. Veteran actor Shri Naseeruddin Shah released the book in the presence of Shri Gulzar and Javed Akhtar amongst other dignitaries. Siddiqi has dedicated months of his time in researching the play, which is in a class of its own. Shyam Rang, his play is a compassionate quest into this poignant saga of desire, denial and devotion.
